Regional Court fined two persons due to interfering with activities of №17 Telavi and №54 Samtredia District Election Commissions
Telavi Regional Court recognized Nikoloz Vardoshvili as an offender due to interfering with the activities of District Election Commission (DEC) and imposed the penalty in the amount of 500 GEL.
On September 8, Giorgi Kalmakhelidze, Chairperson of N17 Telavi DEC drew up the protocol of administrative offence on the fact of breaking into Chairperson’s office without permission and submitted the protocol to the relevant court for further proceeding.
On September 7, 2017 Nikoloz Vardoshvili together with several unidentified citizens broke into the office of the DEC Chairperson without permission, at that time when Mr. Kalmakhelidze was conducting a meeting. With this action, he interfered with the activities of the commission and was expelled from the commission building accordingly.
On September 1, Nana Imnadze, Chairperson of №54 Samtredia DEC drew up the protocol of administrative offence against the representative of Christian Conservative Party on breaking into the hall of commission building. DEC Chairperson submitted the protocol to the relevant court for further response.
On September 1, 2017, Pridon Shengelia representative of Christian Conservative Party broke into the hall of the commission building (willfully opened the locked door) and with this action illegally interfered with the commission's activities and hindered the process of verification of the supporters’ list.
Samtredia regional court recognized Pridon Shengelia, representative of Christian Conservative Party as an offender and imposed penalty in the amount of 500 GEL.
